10 Sides to Serve with Chicken Salad Lettuce Wraps

Chicken salad lettuce wraps are one of my favorite quick lunches to make.

They’re easy, delicious, and filling—and they’re also super healthy!

But what can you serve with them?

The best sides to serve with chicken salad lettuce wraps are the ones that complement the flavors of the chicken salad. Some good options include a fruit salad, a veggie platter, and even some homemade biscuits.

When people are looking for what to serve with lettuce wraps, they often come up with the same old options: salad, fries, rice, and pasta.

But there are so many other things you can serve!

Here are 10 sides that will complement your chicken salad lettuce wraps perfectly:

1. Veggie Platter

If you’re anything like me, sometimes you just want to eat something healthy but don’t want to spend too much time on it.

That’s why I love my veggie platter—it’s always ready when I am, and it only takes 10 minutes of prep time!

I love pairing this side dish with chicken salad lettuce wraps because they both have what they need all wrapped up in one convenient package!

It makes for a complete meal that won’t leave you hungry or unsatisfied in any way—I promise!

2. Fruit Salad

One of my favorite side dishes for chicken salad lettuce wraps is a fruit salad.

It’s incredibly easy to make and requires only a few ingredients, making it a great choice for a quick dinner that doesn’t require any fancy cooking skills.

I like to cut up some fruit into bite-sized pieces.

My favorites are apples and oranges, but you can use whatever fruits you have on hand.

Once the fruit is cut up, I toss it in a bowl with some sugar (about 2 tablespoons per cup of fruit) and then add some lemon juice (about 1 tablespoon per cup of fruit).

I let this sit for about 30 minutes so that the sugar has time to absorb into the fruit and make it nice and juicy.

This side dish goes great with chicken salad lettuce wraps because both are light and refreshing—and they’re both super easy to make!

If you’re looking for something fast but still want something delicious—and maybe even healthy too—try making both of these recipes tonight!

3. Simple Greens

Greens are nature’s gift to us veggies who don’t have time to cook or shop for healthy ingredients.

They’re versatile and delicious, and they can be used in many different ways—you can serve them raw or cooked (steamed or sautéed).

If you’re looking for something new, try serving them as an appetizer with some homemade dressing!

4. Braised Cabbage

Braised cabbage is another great option if you want something hearty and filling to serve alongside your wraps.

The cabbage has been cooked until it’s tender enough to eat without any teeth (or knives!).

This makes it easy to prepare ahead of time so all you need to do is reheat before serving!

5. Kale Chips

I love kale chips!

They’re crunchy, salty, and a great way to get more veggies in my diet.

I like to make them in the oven—it’s so easy!

Just cut some kale into chip-sized pieces, drizzle them with olive oil and sea salt, put them on a baking sheet, and bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes.

They’re great by themselves—but I also love pairing them with other foods.

For example, if you’re having chicken salad lettuce wraps for dinner (which is one of my favorite meals), adding kale chips on top of your wrap makes it even better! You’ll get extra nutrients from the kale and protein from the chicken salad wrap.

6. Crackers

I love crunchy crackers with this meal because they add a little bit more texture and flavor.

My favorite are wheat thins and whole-wheat crackers, but any kind of cracker will do! If you’re feeling fancy, you can also make your own cracker out of an English muffin or even just toast slices of bread.

7. Potato Chips

I like to make these Homemade Potato Chips in under 10 minutes, which makes them perfect for when you need something quick.

All you need is sliced potatoes and an ovenproof pan or baking sheet.

Here’s how to do it:

  1. Coat your pan with oil and arrange the potatoes on top.
  2. Bake them at 400°F for about 10 minutes (or until golden brown), then flip each piece over with a spatula and bake for another 5 minutes.

That’s it!

You can serve them hot or cold—or even fry them in some oil if you’re feeling extra adventurous!

8. Fried Mozzarella Cubes

I love making these cubes because they’re super easy to make and are absolutely delicious.

All you have to do is take some mozzarella cheese, cut it into cubes, and then fry it in some oil in a pan.

I like to use canola oil because it has a higher smoke point than vegetable oil, so it doesn’t burn as easily. But if you don’t have any canola oil on hand, that’s okay!

Just use whatever kind of oil you want.

Once your mozzarella cubes are cooked through, drain them on a paper towel-lined plate or baking sheet.

Then add salt and pepper to taste (or any other seasonings). That’s all there is to it! It really only takes about 5 minutes!

9. Hard-Boiled Eggs

Hard-boiled eggs are one of my favorite snacks, so I like to make a big batch of them and keep them in the fridge.

They’re great for breakfast or lunch on their own, but they also make a great side dish for chicken salad lettuce wraps.

It’s also easy to make hard-boiled eggs:

  1. Just put them in a pot of water, bring it to a boil, and then let them sit for 10 minutes before removing them from the heat and letting them cool off in cold water.
  2. Once they’re cooled, you can peel them or leave them whole—it’s up to you!

10. Pasta Salad

Pasta salad is one of my favorite side dishes because it’s fast and easy to make, but it’s also really versatile.

You can add a meat, like chicken or beef; use different types of pasta (like rigatoni or bowtie); add different toppings (like olives or sun-dried tomatoes); and serve it in so many different ways—as an appetizer at a party, in a sandwich for lunch, or as the main dish itself!

Here’s how I do it:

  1. I like to make my own dressing by combining oil, vinegar and seasonings in a bowl.
  2. Then I toss cooked pasta with the dressing until everything is coated evenly.
  3. Next, I add chopped veggies like bell peppers and tomatoes as well as other ingredients like hardboiled eggs or bacon bits if desired.
  4. Finally, I put everything on top of lettuce leaves for a quick meal that’s perfect for on-the-go lunches!

10 Sides to Serve with Chicken Salad Lettuce Wraps

Chicken salad lettuce wraps are a light, healthy and delicious lunch or dinner option. They're also easy to make and can be used as the main course for a busy weeknight dinner or packed for lunch on the go.
However, if you want to add some variety to your meal plan, you might consider serving a side dish alongside it. There are plenty of options for side dishes that will complement your chicken salad lettuce wraps perfectly!
For example, try serving a side dish that helps you get your daily dose of vegetables. You can make this easy by chopping up some fresh tomatoes or cucumbers and adding them to wrap. Or try adding some fruit to your meal by slicing up an apple or orange and sprinkling it with cinnamon before adding it to your wrap!
Another great idea is to serve a vegetable soup alongside your wraps at lunchtime or dinner time. This will give you another opportunity to get in some extra vegetables without having to do much work at all!
