Here are 9 side dishes that go great with greek sausage:
1. Greek Salad
I absolutely love Greek Salad as a side dish for greek sausage.
It’s super flavorful, and the texture is just perfect—not too hard or soft.
It’s also so easy to make.
You can buy the ingredients at any grocery store or farmer’s market, and you don’t need any special skills or equipment to make it.
You just chop some stuff up and mix it together!
One of my favorite ways to prepare this side dish is by adding in some fresh mozzarella cheese and cherry tomatoes; the tanginess of these two ingredients complements the saltiness of Greek sausage perfectly.
Greek Salad is great on its own, but when paired with greek sausage, it becomes even better!

I love to serve them with grilled chicken, too.
The flavor is rich and creamy—but not too rich and creamy—and the texture is just right: light enough to complement a meal but heavy enough to be satisfying on its own.
They’re pretty easy to make, too! I’ll give you some tips:
-I like to use Yukon Gold potatoes because they have a soft texture that’s perfect for mashing.
You could also try russets or red potatoes if you prefer those textures better.
-I like to use olive oil instead of butter because it’s less fattening (and healthier!).
But if you want your potatoes even richer, feel free to add as much butter as you’d like.
-When you boil your potatoes, don’t forget the salt!
It will make all the difference in how well they turn out.
-Try adding different herbs like rosemary or thyme for extra flavor!
Or experiment with different types of cheeses for an extra kick.
6. Baked Sweet Potato Fries
Sweet potato fries are delicious, and they go well with the smoky flavor of sausage.
They’re also super easy to make—you just need a few ingredients and some time in the oven.
I’ve found that these sweet potato fries are great on their own, but they’re a little bland without something else on the plate.
