This was an absolute hit in our house!

I modified the recipe slightly by brushing the cooked chicken with some of the chili aioli, doubling the garlic and ginger, parboiling before baking instead of grilling to reduce time, and adding 1 package of cream cheese.

The end result was amazing.

This recipe is amazing!

I’m so glad I tried it because the flavors just pop.

This chicken chow mein is much healthier than restaurant versions, and the combination of ingredients gives it an incredible depth and complexity of flavor in only 15 minutes.

An added bonus is that you don’t have to track down obscure ingredients like bean sprouts or bok choy.

My only (minor) suggestion would be to add another teaspoon of light soy sauce for a bigger flavor punch, but overall this recipe was fantastic!

12. Chicken Pot Pie Noodle Skillet

I love this twist on the classic chicken pot pie.

I forgot to add garlic, but it was still so flavorful.

The combination of egg noodles and frozen vegetables gave it a unique texture that everyone in my family approved of – even the picky eaters!

Next time I might try adding some extra veggies or subbing low-sodium vegetable broth for the chicken broth to see what kind of flavors I can get with different combinations.

I didn’t have any pineapple, so had to leave it out, but the flavors were still really amazing.

My only suggestion is to add an extra kick of spice by adding more sriracha.

I made mine with a sautéed combination of peppers and other veggies plus chicken, but they’d work well with anything you have.

The flavors in the coconut milk and curry paste were amazing — salty and sweet, yet still light enough that it’s not too rich.

I increased the cornstarch slightly to thicken it up and squeezed an extra lemon wedge at the end to cut some of the sweetness.

My family loved this casserole!

I used more chicken than indicated for a meatier feast, plus two different cheeses for additional flavor. I also added some garlic powder to the mix.

Instead of freezing half in a foil container, I opted to make more noodles – so that there was enough for everyone the first time around, then froze an entire casserole with extra cheese on top for next week’s dinner.

The combination of flavors was amazing, and I really enjoyed the burst of freshness that was added by the julienned cucumber and shredded carrot.

The lemongrass chicken marinated perfectly with the other ingredients.

My suggestion for improvement would be to add more chile peppers for an extra kick, but overall it is a great dish bursting with flavor.
