Step 1: Prepare the Cornbread Batter
Add self-rising yellow cornmeal, sugar, all-purpose flour, eggs, vegetable oil, and buttermilk to a large bowl.

Mix until just combined. Add more buttermilk if needed to achieve a thick batter.

Step 2: Bake the Cornbread
Grease an 8-inch cast iron skillet with softened butter.

Pour the cornbread batter into the prepared skillet.

Bake in a preheated oven at 425° F for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through.

Step 3: Brown the Ground Beef
Add cooking oil and ground beef to a large pan. Break apart the ground beef and cook over medium-high heat until browned.

Step 4: Season the Meat Sauce
Add beef bouillon powder, cracked black pepper, seasoned salt, paprika, garlic powder, and dehydrated minced onion to the browned ground beef.

Step 5: Add Marinara Sauce and Water
Pour the marinara sauce into the pan with the ground beef.

Fill the empty marinara jar with water and add to the pan. Add an extra cup of water, sugar, and more seasoning as needed.

Step 6: Cook the Spaghetti
Bring the sauce to a simmer. Add the spaghetti to the pan, ensuring it’s submerged in the liquid. Add more water if needed.

Cook for about 15 minutes, or until the spaghetti is cooked to your liking, stirring occasionally.

Step 7: Cook the Green Beans
Sauté the frozen green beans in a separate pan with butter, garlic powder, onion powder, and lemon pepper blend until tender.

Step 8: Serve
Serve the spaghetti and meat sauce garnished with grated Parmesan cheese and crushed red pepper flakes.

Serve alongside the sweet cornbread.
