McDonald’s Hamburger Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon Accent (MSG, optional)
  • Slightly more than 1 pound ground chuck (20% fat)
  • Hamburger buns
  • Ketchup
  • Mustard
  • Rehydrated onions
  • Pickle slices

Step 1: Preparing the Seasoned Salt

Measure two tablespoons of salt.

Measure two teaspoons of ground black pepper.

Measure ¼ teaspoon of Accent (optional).

Combine salt, pepper, and Accent in a small bowl.

Stir the mixture until well combined.

Pour the seasoned salt into a salt shaker.

Step 2: Preparing the Hamburger Patties

Place the ground chuck in a bowl.

Divide the ground chuck into 8 equal portions.

Shape each portion into a round patty.

Step 3: Grilling the Patties

Preheat the grill to 350°F (or prepare a skillet).

Place the patties onto the preheated grill.

Season the patties generously with the seasoned salt.

Season the other side of the patties.

Place the grilled hamburger patty on top of the condiments.

Place the top bun on the hamburger patty.
