- 2 cups pecans
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 egg white
First, mix the sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl. In another bowl, whisk the egg white until frothy. Toss the pecans in the egg white, then coat them in the sugar mixture.
Spread the pecans on a baking sheet and pop them in the oven at 300°F for about 30 minutes. Stir them every 10 minutes to make sure they get evenly coated and crispy.
Once they’re done, let them cool completely. Warning: You’ll be tempted to eat them right away, but resist! They get even crunchier as they cool.
