Easy Leftover Chicken Fried Rice

This simple and delicious chicken fried rice recipe is perfect for utilizing leftover ingredients and day-old rice. It’s a versatile dish that can serve as a filling main course for two people or as a side dish for up to four people.

Ingredients

Main Components:

  • 3 cups cooked day-old white rice
  • 1 chicken breast, chopped
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 small onion
  • 1 green onion
  • 2 mini sweet bell peppers
  • 1/2 celery rib
  • 1 small carrot
  • 2 tsp garlic paste

Chicken Seasoning:

  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp white pepper

Sauce Mixture:

  • 1/3 cup chicken broth
  • 1 Tbsp low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp sugar

Oils:

  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • Cooking oil for sautéing

Step 1: Prepare the Sauce
