Ingredients
- 1 and 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 and 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup butter milk
Apple mixture:
- 1 whole apple
- 2 tsp teaspoon
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
Glaze:
- 3/4 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 Tbs milk

We’ll start by mixing the dry ingredients. In a bowl, combine all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix everything together well and set it aside for later use.
Next, we move on to the wet ingredients. In a separate bowl, mix together melted butter, sugar, eggs, buttermilk, and vanilla extract. Ensure everything is combined thoroughly.
Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, mixing gently to avoid lumps. Once combined, set the batter aside.
Now, let’s prepare the apple filling. Take one whole apple, peel it, core it, and cut it into tiny cubes. In a mixing bowl, combine the apple pieces with brown sugar and cinnamon, mixing everything well.
