Cheesy Hamburger and Rice Casserole Recipe

This Cheesy Hamburger and Rice Casserole is a comforting dish that combines the heartiness of ground meat with creamy cheese and fluffy rice.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Ground Beef or Ground Turkey (900 g)
  • 2 cups Uncooked Rice (370 g)
  • 4 cups Chicken Broth (960 ml)
  • 1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup (10.5 oz or 300 g)
  • 1.5 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese (150 g)
  • 1 cup Shredded Mexican Cheese Blend (100 g)
  • 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese (100 g)
  • 1/2 Large Onion, diced
  • 3/4 cup Green Bell Pepper, diced (110 g)
  • 1/2 cup Red Bell Pepper, diced (75 g)
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil (15 ml)
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Sea Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning (optional)
  • 1/4 cup Green Onions, chopped (for topping)
  • Parsley Flakes (for garnish, optional)

Step 1: Prepare the Ingredients

Gather all your ingredients and ensure they are ready to use. Chop the onions and peppers, and measure out the rice and cheese.

In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat.
