Broccoli Salad | the Perfect Party Salad Recipe

This vibrant broccoli salad is a delightful departure from leafy green salads. Creamy, crunchy, and sweet, this unique salad is packed with flavor and texture, making it the perfect side dish for any gathering.

Ingredients

For the Salad:

  • 8 slices bacon
  • 1 large head of broccoli (about 5 cups of florets)
  • ⅓ cup red onion, diced
  • ½ cup sunflower seeds
  • ½ cup dried cranberries
  • ¼ cup goat cheese

For the Dressing:

  • 1 egg
  • ½ tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon white wine vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 cup light olive oil (or other neutral oil)
  • ¼ cup yogurt

Step 1: Cook the Bacon
