Boston activists physically interfere with ICE arrests of convicted child rapists and murderers
Activists in Boston are literally grabbing onto handcuffed criminals to prevent their arrest by federal agents. The shocking interference is happening as ICE conducts its largest operation since Trump returned to office.
Operation Patriot Targets Dangerous Criminals
Immigration and Customs Enforcement launched “Operation Patriot” across Massachusetts this week, deploying 19 teams to arrest criminal migrants who have evaded justice.
The operation is expected to result in 1,500 arrests, making it the most extensive ICE enforcement action since President Trump’s return to the White House.
Among those targeted are individuals with convictions for child rape, murder, and other heinous crimes who have been living freely in sanctuary jurisdictions.

Massachusetts and Boston’s sanctuary policies have created a protective environment for criminal migrants, according to ICE Boston head Patricia Hyde.
“Due to the open border policies, we are finding that plenty of people who have been previously deported and committed heinous crimes and were removed from the country are now back here, just living among us.”
The operation directly responds to these sanctuary policies, with border czar Tom Homan promising to surge ICE resources into non-cooperative jurisdictions.
The Shocking Cases ICE Uncovered
Fox News exclusively captured several arrests during the operation, revealing the dangerous individuals living in American communities.
One Salvadoran illegal immigrant, convicted of child rape and deported in 2017, was found living directly next to a children’s playground.
Another target was on El Salvador’s most wanted list with an Interpol Red Notice for aggravated murder, aggravated kidnapping, and robbery.
Additional arrests included a Colombian facing sexual assault charges against a child and a Dominican with drug trafficking convictions now facing fentanyl distribution charges.
ICE reports that approximately 70% of those arrested have criminal convictions or pending charges.
Local Resistance Escalates
The most disturbing aspect of the operation wasn’t the criminals themselves, but the response from local activists.
Hyde revealed that sanctuary jurisdictions are “starting to escalate against ICE,” with interference becoming increasingly dangerous.
“I think the lack of cooperation is getting worse and worse, and it’s putting law enforcement lives in danger.”

The shocking interference reached its peak when activists physically attempted to prevent arrests of dangerous criminals.
On Thursday, activists tried to grab onto an immigrant who had already been handcuffed by ICE agents, attempting to physically interfere with a lawful arrest.
In another incident, agents conducting surveillance on a suspected murderer’s home had their cover blown when a crowd gathered and alerted the target.
These actions demonstrate how far some activists will go to protect convicted criminals from facing consequences for their crimes.

Despite the escalating resistance, ICE Boston maintains its commitment to public safety.
“We’re not going away. It might take us longer. It might be harder, but we’re not going away, we’re here. We know what the American people voted for.”
