For the Marinade:

  • 2 lbs thin-cut top round beef
  • 12 fl oz beer
  • 2-3 medium limes, juiced
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cracked black pepper

For Cooking:

  • 2½-3 cups beef broth
  • Corn tortillas for serving
