Bernie Sanders destroys Kamala Harris saying her billionaire friends caused Trump election victory not Joe Biden

Bernie Sanders just dropped a political bombshell that’s sending shockwaves through the Democratic Party establishment.

The 83-year-old senator isn’t holding back, and his target might surprise you.

The Blame Game Takes an Unexpected Turn

While most political analysts have been pointing fingers at Joe Biden for the Democrats’ crushing defeat, Sanders has a completely different theory.

In a recent BBC Radio 4 interview, the Vermont independent didn’t mince words about who he thinks is really responsible for handing Trump the keys to the White House again.

And it’s not who you’d expect.

A Campaign Strategy That Backfired Spectacularly

Sanders has been crisscrossing the country on his “Fighting Oligarchy Tour” with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, drawing massive crowds everywhere they go.

But according to him, the Harris campaign was doing exactly the opposite of what working Americans wanted to see.

The senator painted a picture of a campaign that completely lost touch with its base, choosing elite connections over grassroots appeal.

The Billionaire Problem That Nobody Talks About

Sanders highlighted something that many political observers have been whispering about but few have said out loud.

He pointed to Harris’s high-profile associations with wealthy donors and business leaders as a major messaging disaster.

According to Sanders, this sent exactly the wrong signal to the voters Democrats needed most.

What Working Americans Really Wanted to Hear

The senator revealed he spent months trying to convince the Harris campaign to focus on kitchen-table issues that actually matter to struggling families.

He pushed for discussions about raising minimum wage, healthcare reform, and addressing the housing crisis that’s crushing middle-class Americans.

But his pleas apparently fell on deaf ears.

The Smoking Gun: Sanders Reveals What Really Happened

Here’s where Sanders dropped his most damning accusation against the Harris campaign.

“A lot of the people are saying it was Joe Biden’s fault that Kamala Harris lost the election … not true. It was the fault of Kamala Harris and her consultants. They did not run a campaign designed to speak to the American working class.”

Sanders specifically called out Harris for spending more time with Republican Liz Cheney “almost than with anybody else” and having billionaire Mark Cuban as a prominent spokesperson.

“What is that message out to working class people? To my mind, that was a campaign that absolutely should have been winnable. But it gets back to the fundamental issue that that campaign was also run by consultants and billionaires.”

The senator insisted Harris “absolutely” could have won if she had focused on the economic struggles facing ordinary Americans instead of courting elite endorsements.

Sanders concluded with a challenge that cuts to the heart of the Democratic Party’s identity crisis: “The Democrats have to answer a very simple question: which side are you on? And that answer has not yet been made.”

With Trump heading back to the White House, Sanders’ brutal assessment suggests the Democratic establishment’s cozy relationship with wealthy elites may have cost them everything when working-class voters decided they’d had enough.
